About Pure Deli

The soft hum of quiet conversation and the aroma of fresh herbs create an inviting atmosphere at Pure Deli. The space feels deliberately uncluttered, matching the clean, health-focused philosophy it embraces. It’s a setting where the thoughtful arrangement of plants and natural light from the large windows contribute as much to the dining experience as the dishes themselves. Browsing through various online sources reveals that Pure Deli’s menu is often praised for balancing simplicity with creativity, though some reviews note that ambitious flavors occasionally risk overshadowing their wholesome intent.

Sampling a few standout plates highlights the restaurant’s commitment to nourishing options without sacrificing taste. A vibrant beetroot salad accompanied by a smooth avocado dressing delivers freshness in each bite, while the grain bowls strike a pleasant balance between hearty and light. Despite the focus on health-conscious recipes, the portions lean toward moderate, which may leave those accustomed to heftier meals wanting more. Photographs found on social platforms depict colorful and well-composed dishes that align well with what diners report, lending visual confirmation to the claims gathered from Pure Deli reviews. The service maintains a gentle attentiveness, with staff offering knowledgeable input about ingredients and dietary considerations.

Within this quiet niche of Reykjavík’s dining scene, Pure Deli restaurant stands out for a calm, unpretentious approach to food. The combination of fresh, locally sourced components crafted into wholesome plates supports a steady, if not extravagant, appeal. Prices fall in a reasonable range for the quality and ambiance, though expectations should be tempered by the genuinely “pure” philosophy that often sacrifices indulgence for better-for-you choices. Overall, immersion into the menu here feels like an exploration of Icelandic health cuisine with thoughtful execution, making it a frequent subject of positive feedback balanced against the occasional comment on portion size and subtle experimentation.

A nice atmosphere to calmly meet up with friends, or eat the delicious avocado chicken vefjur. Unfortunately, I was there for the second time last week, and this time the chicken turned out to be cold. But we're giving it another chance.

Quality pizza, sandwiches, salads and juices. Clean and attractive interior with plenty of seating. Allow for a few extra minutes as they prepare your food with care. They like their garlic so make sure you let them know if you don’t want it on your food (which is not a problem). Omnivore, vegetarian and vegan options available.

We just arrived to Iceland after a long flight and needed something to eat. Pure Deli fit the bill. The food was high quality and nutritious. I had the Pure Deli and my husband had the Pakastani chicken wrap. We both enjoyed our meals. What a great kick off to our stay in Iceland. I’m sure we will return again during this trip.

Food was decent, however there is a room for improvement. It's a very nice, clean and quiet place, where you can have your meals undisturbed. I definitely recommend fresh veggi juice -fantastic

I had serious doubts about this place because it had been hyped up so much and yet I was blown away. After eating there a couple of times I'd recommend eating in instead of takeaway. I've only had the avacado toast, because it's just that good, and been consistently good.

We had been in Iceland for 5 and 1/2 days. The trip was absolutely amazing. I know how we had quite a lot of good food. We were looking for something with more vegetable content. I don't think we were really expecting to get that here, pesto wraps tasted like absolute heaven. Delicious food. Probably the best wrap I've ever actually had anywhere.
